Duke has 20 years of experience in audio, video, and lighting system design and operation, 10 years experience as staff Technical Director in mega churches, and a B.S. in Business Management from NW Missouri State. He is a regular speaker at national worship and tech conferences, including WFX, National Worship Leader Conference, and many others.

Duke also regularly contributes to Sunday Magazine, Church Production Magazine and Pro Sound Web, just to name a few. He is passionate about helping people use technology to communicate and reach people most effectively. Duke loves spending time with his family, golfing, and cooking (and eating) amazing BBQ.

With more than 30 years production experience (20 on church staff) including leadership positions at Saddleback Church and Mariners Church, Van loves the Church & the teams that make it happen. He knows how gratifying ministry is and understands its challenges.
