Originally from Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA, Dave has been preaching and leading worship for close to forty years. He graduated with a BA from Puget Sound Christian College, attended Emmanuel School of Religion for graduate school, is a member of the International Society of Theta Phi (a scholastic honor society in the field of religion comprised of scholars and religious leaders who are recognized for high ethical standards and academic excellence,) has served as an adjunct professor for Boise Bible College, and is a popular speaker at conferences across the country.
He is passionate about helping churches with all aspects of ministry, and bringing the best expertise available directly to the local church. Dave founded and, for the past six years, has been the Executive Director of Focus Worship, which has helped thousands of churches create God-honoring and life-changing worship environments and experiences. He has discovered and developed many creative solutions for the challenges that churches face, and Interactive Church Life is the most recent of them.
